Runamok Maple is located in northern Vermont, along the western slopes of Mount Mansfield. Spanning 1,100 acres in Cambridge and 250 acres in Fairfield, our crew taps 81,000 trees to bring you one of Mother Nature’s most exquisite pleasures: pure maple syrup. Throughout the sugaring season, the flavor of the syrup varies due to temperature, moisture and acts of nature that remain a mystery even to the experts. As it changes, we constantly taste it until we hit the absolute peak of flavor. Since this is the syrup we bottle for ourselves, we call it The Sugarmaker’s Cut. Along with our pure maple syrup, we have created a collection of infused, smoked and barrel-aged maple syrups. Maple marries exceptionally well with a variety of flavors.
In the back of a tiny shop in Colonial Williamsburg, carefully selecting and hand roasting the finest Virginia Peanuts available – plump, golden, and gently blistered in our unique cooking process. For more than 40 years now we have continued to honor that traditional recipe in the same thoughtful way. Virginia Peanuts are one of four types of U.S. grown peanuts – although grown primarily in Virginia and the Carolinas. And they represent only 15% of the total U.S. peanut production. While this variety of peanut is already considered the largest kernel size of all four types, we only source the “cream of the crop” for our delicacies, the very highest market grade available – Super Extra Large. Please note that the actual size of the Super Extra Large Peanut may vary from season to season, depending on the growing conditions of the seasonal crops. Less than 3% of all Virginia Peanuts grown meet the strict standards of this grade. And you can be assured we have sourced the finest and largest available.
Named for our founder, Lesley Elizabeth (a.k.a. Lizzie), whose love of cooking created our company’s legacy of flavor. Born in Northern England, Lizzie’s first memory of food was helping her grandmother shell peas while the family faced food shortages. After the war, the family traveled in the summer to the Mediterranean Coast in the South of France. Even today, Lizzie tells the story, with eyes sparkling, of her childhood summers- air laden with rosemary and lavender and delicious family meals featuring savory pasta and rice. Her love of nurturing people through healthy and flavorful food led her to developing recipes that were quick and delicious. She founded the company in 1991, to offer her custom blended oils, spices and mixes to people longing for flavor without hours of chopping and prep work in the kitchen. She continues to develop new products, blending ingredients from her original imagination, extensive cooking experience and exotic travel. All products are certified kosher by Kosher Michigan and are all-natural.
Based in Vero Beach, Florida, Tommy T's BBQ Catering is proud to serve all of Southern Florida, from Melbourne to Key West. We specialize in special event catering with freshly prepared Southern-style BBQ fare. With over a decade of experience in the competitive BBQ world, the food we offer showcases the delicious tastes of competition-style BBQ. All across the country, there are hundreds of competitions taking place every weekend. Participating in these competitions have allowed us to learn from the best about new, exciting ways to prepare great food. For many years, our founder, Tommy, cooked for his family and friends. After realizing that no one in the area offered on-site preparation of authentic Southern BBQ and hearing many times that he should offer his talent to the public, he decided to establish his own professional catering company.
