Until recently Rosé wines have not been a popular choice. Today, Rosés are enjoyed by all segments of the population with no stopping the new spurt of growth. All different types of grapes are being used to create Rosés. The wines color is created by running the fermented juice over the grape skin. The longer the juice stays in contact with the skin the darker the wine appears. Rosés are exotic, so it would make sense they are paired with these types of foods such as a ham and Gouda soufflé, mushroom quiche or a roasted beet salad with goat cheese and pistachios. Maybe, a grilled cheese bacon and avocado sandwich would be a nice choice. Anyway Rosés are here to stay!
