South Australia produces over 55 percent of all wine production and is home to some of the best Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Eden Valley region was established by Charles Crane in 1866 around the nearby North Para River system and is home to the iconic Henschke vineyards. With over 155 years of history they are known for their Shiraz but produce some great Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir from other Vineyard nearby. There are great wines produced in South Australia but none more outstanding than Penfolds Grange.
Penfolds Grange has been released and is getting great reviews from the likes of Wine Advocate (99 points) and James Suckling (98 points). When choosing a wine ask us what we suggest from South Australia. The Sudnick Wine Press will give you some ripper ideas!
